Description

On January 6, 2023, the American fast-food restaurant industry Chick-fil-A issued a warning on its official website about "suspicious activity" tied to certain of its customers' accounts in credential stuffing attacks. As per threat intelligence, hacked accounts are widely used in attempts to buy goods using disposable email addresses. Some of the stolen accounts are being sold for as little as $2 and as much as $200, depending on the value of the account, the related payment method, or the balance of Chick-fil-A One points (rewards points). Furthermore, a support page on the Chick-fil-One A's Membership Program customer service website educates potential victims on what to do if they see unusual behavior on their accounts.
